Fred and his friend
Grace, Fred, and Gunner
The other day we went and visited one of Jeff's customers that also has a chinese crested dog! I have never seen another chinese crested in person, so it was fun. The dog we saw is a very old dog and he used to be a champion dog in dog shows! This dog was also a hairless like Fred, but it had a lot more hair than Fred. The owner told us more chinese cresteds are getting bred to have more hair so the hair on the top of their head is longer. He said Fred was what they call a 'primitive' chinese crested. He also used to have a powderpuff that won a lot of dog shows. Here are some pictures of the dogs together.

Take a Walk
Let's Take a Walk...Down Memory Lane!!!
Memory Lane...Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. (It can be either with Jeff or Jennie or Both). It doesn't matter if you knew me/us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
This is fun, I hope everyone will participate. Start Thinking!
Also, when you leave a comment...you are tagging yourself...so re-post on your own blog so I know who's to go and comment on!

Fourth of July
the plan for this fourth of July was to head into downtown St. Louis and watch the fireworks from under the arch at a friend's apartment building's roof. We drove downtown and we were 5 blocks away from our friend's apartment building when cars just started pulling over onto the shoulder of the Highway. Then, the cars started just parking everywhere. Even right in the middle of the road! Jeff and I could not get passed them so we just sat in our car on the highway and watched the fireworks. They were beautiful by the way. Then we thought we would still go and visit our friends, so we s-l-o-w-l-y exit the freeway and onto the streets. As we were exiting Fred BARFED! And I was holding him. YUCK! luckily most of it landed on the blanket that we were snuggled in. Then, it seemed like we were waiting in traffic FOREVER! The cardinals game just got out so there was game traffic and fireworks traffic. Jeff and I tried to make the best of it by playing 20 questions and an eventful game of TRUTH or DARE. When we still haven't moved an inch in about 20 minutes, we get out of our car and figure out the police are blocking the road in front of us. One of the other ladies that was stuck in traffic with us redirected all the cars to go through a parking lot and onto the highway back home. So we headed home. Happy fourth of July.....we spent about 3 and 1/2 hours in our car!

Zoo
Dad with the chimp.
Monkeys cuddling.
More monkeys cuddling.
Even MORE monkeys cuddling.
The butterfly house.
The penguin.
A depressed chimp.
The "wild ass"
The 3 day old giraffe.
My mom kissing a butterfly!
Another fun thing we did when my parents were visiting was go to the zoo. We saw lots of cool animals. We saw a sign for a "naked chimp" (hairless chimp) and I really wanted to find it, but we did not. We did see a chimp scratch his booty and smell his hand afterwards. Funny! We also saw a 3 day old giraffe. So cute! We went to a sea lion show. We saw penguins and puffins. We went in a butterfly house. We saw a somali wild ass. The zoo was lots of fun!
